This had been my go-to 2 years ago and I just re-found the recipe! so… it is about time that I share. These bulk herbs are common. Find them at your local health foods store. They are generally in the Fronteir Bulk Sections, but if you can find them at a higher quality, grab them from there.
I loved my Co-op & Herb Shop here in PDX! The tea blend is nutritional, adaptogenic, and calming. Meaning it will help you buffer stressors in your life, give you some energy c/o the caffeine up and downs, and give you all the essential minerals that we are lacking.
Chia seeds are a great form of Omega 3s, anti-inflammatory but only if they are fresh ground and stored in a cool-dry place. Otherwise, they are a great form of fiber to help bind to and draw out toxins and excess hormones for elimination via your digestive system. Gojis are packed c nutrients including iron, Vitamin A & E, (zeaxanthin & carotenoids), and trace minerals.
- 3 tbsp chia, soaked O/N (overnight)
- 1/4 c Gojis, soaked O/N
TEA RECIPE: Equal Parts of the Following
- Oat Tops
- Hawthorne Leaf & Flower
Optional, but delish
- 1 tbsp Protein Powder (optional – I LOVE Amazing Grass Raw Reserve Vanilla Spice & Epic Protein Vanilla Lucuma)
- 1/4 tsp Matcha Powder (for that extra kick)
Soak Goji and Chia overnight in enough water to cover them and then some. Those chias and Gojis get swoll!
Brew Tea Ahead of time if you want an icey smoothie or the day of your Goji Bliss if you want a warm thick drink. Trust me. Both methods are brilliant.
